After a brief night’s stay in Hanoi, our journey led us to the tranquil waters of Cat Ba Bay for a memorable cruise. While most people opt for the crowded Ha Long Bay, we chose the serenity of Cat Ba Bay. On the Venezia Cruise, a reasonably small boat with around 12 ensuite rooms, we set sail for the awe-inspiring limestone mountains that grace the bay. On our way we had the opportunity to kayak in between the limestone formations and to swim to secluded paradise beach. As the night descended, we were treated to an unexpected light show as a thunderstorm passed by, illuminating the sky & the mountains with its brilliance. The experience was nothing short of magical, and it further enhanced the charm of Cat Ba Bay, making our cruise an unforgettable adventure.
