One of the reasons we absolutely wanted to go to the north east of South Korea was the Seoraksan National Park. All travel guides agree that this park is without doubt the most beautiful National Park of South Korea. As the weather was not to warm, we left the cable car for what it was & decided to go hiking. An absolutely fabulous day. Great views. The forests were all fresh & green. The rivers were swollen because of the recent rain & there were mushrooms everywhere.
